HOW IS IT CONFIGURED?
To activate the vest, you need to download the app from the stores (Play Store for Android, Apple Store for IOS). Turn on the vest using the button on the LED control panel. After installing the app, you need to register by clicking on subscribe, entering the required data. After the data has been entered, you will be asked to scan the unique QR Code found on the tag attached to the vest zip and on the last page of the manual.
HOW DOES IT TURN ON?
To activate the vest, after putting it on, completely fasten the zip on the front of the vest, fasten the magnetic button to activate the protective system, and arm the device by pressing the button on the LED panel.
HOW LONG DOES THE BATTERY LAST?
When the vest is activated, the battery lasts about 10 hours.
CAN I USE IT WITHOUT THE APP?
The vest can be used without the app. However, ProtechTo recommends always to activate the app when you use the vest.
I HAVE PURCHASED A USED VEST, HOW CAN I RECONFIGURE IT?
In this case, email ProTechTo using the service@protechto.it email address to request a reset in order to reconfigure the system with the new owner’s data. It is important that all of the vest documentation is transferred to the new buyer when the vest is sold.
CAN IT BE WASHED?
It is not possible to wash the vest. (please refer to the manual – Section 4 Care)
IF THE AIRBAG IS ACTIVATED, CAN IT BE REUSED?
The Vest must be checked by ProTechTo before it can be used again. (refer to the manual – Section 4 Care)
WHAT KIND OF MAINTENANCE IS REQUIRED?

CAN THE GAS CYLINDERS BE REPLACED?
No, the gas cylinders can only be replaced by authorised ProTechTo personnel. (refer to the manual – Section 4 Care)
Can I transport my MAD by plane?
It is possible to transport MAD by air provided that the system is completely off and the airline is informed of the transport. It is recommended to always carry the manual of use and maintenance and consult the following link:
