HOW IT WORKS:
PROTECTED BODY PARTS
MAD has the prerogative of protecting the body from the consequences of falls. The jacket protects the back, chest and head and coccyx through the airbag.
MITIGATION OF IMPACTS
By inflating the airbag, the user is protected from the shock resulting from the impact. In fact, the MAD airbag, tested through the hammer test, according to the harmonized methodology of the UNI EN 1621/4 standard, gave results of a residual force equal to 0.7 Joule starting from an impact force of 26 Joules, i.e. attenuating the impact by 97%.
INFLATION TIMES
Certification tests state an inflation time for the MAD airbag of 250 m/s with the airbag fully inflated and protective.
DETECTION AND CONTROL ELECTRONICS
The jacket, through an electronic detection and control system, constantly monitors the stability conditions of the person wearing it and, if it detects an anomaly, it will instantly activate the inflation process of the airbag bags.
